Workshop: Learn to Draw Repeat Patterns, Saturday, Sept. 6
I often make repeating patterns for use in my paintings. It’s a fun, relaxing process that can be used in many different ways: to make mandalas, coloring pages, fabric design patterns, and used (as I do) in paintings and drawings.
We’ll make a simple drawing and then I’ll show you how to repeat it to create a complex design. I’ll also demonstrate how to transfer your pattern drawing to watercolor paper.
This two-hour workshop is Saturday, September 6, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
$65 (includes supplies used during the workshop)
This workshop is in person and will be held at Shan Bryan-Hanson Studio + Gallery, 242 Michigan, suite 102 on the first floor. (ages 14+)
