New Season, New Work

This is one of a new series of paintings inspired by the mysteries and beauty of gardens and forest at night. I’ve been asked about the blue used to paint these pieces. Is it cobalt? Is it ultramarine? Something else? Yes, yes, and yes. At least four blue pigments show up in this series, plus a number of other colors.

For now, the gallery will be open Fridays through Sundays 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., with extended summer hours beginning after Memorial Day.

I’m also available to meet by appointment Mondays - Thursdays.
