Three Ways to Showcase Small Works of Art in Your Home

It’s always lovely to hang a single painting on a a wall. That said, we are definitely not limited to that option. Here are three other ways small works of art can add visual interest in your home:

Window Sill or Shelf

If the painting is in a deep frame or on a deep cradle (the painting above is on a wooden cradle with a 1.5” depth), it can look fantastic sitting in a window sill or on a shelf. It can sit by itself or mixed with some books, pottery, or other objects you love.

Gallery Wall

Small paintings grouped in a gallery wall.

Small works of art can also be grouped together to create a gallery wall. This can make a strong visual statement, equal to that of a single large-scale painting.

Tabletop Easel

Solo Flight, Mixed media on paper

They can also be placed on tabletop easels, which are available in a variety of styles. The fun thing about this option is that you can find a permanent spot for the easel and rotate the art occasionally for a fresh look.

Happy collecting and decorating!
