On the Road: Next Level Color Workshop

Mixing color swatches from a limited palette.

I’m taking my studio on the road today to teach a color workshop at The Clearing. This will be my first time teaching there and I’m looking forward to spending time up in northern Door County.

Color is such a fun subject to teach. I teach with a limited palette and, even after all these years, I’m still amazed at the seemingly endless number of colors that can be created from just a few pigments.

Gathering workshop supplies

Each of the colors on a single piece of paper are mixed with the same pigments, just in varying amounts.
